Description
The WYS 88° Bystronic-type wide-tip relieved punch is designed for precision sheet-metal bending where high load capacity and additional workpiece clearance are required.
With a 175 mm overall height, 30 mm maximum width, 10 mm working-tip width and R1 tip radius, the punch provides a strong and stable working section. Its maximum rated load of 100 ton/m makes it suitable for demanding bending applications within the specified force limit.
The offset relieved profile creates additional clearance beside the working area, helping prevent interference when bending parts with adjacent flanges, previously formed edges or partially closed profiles. The 88° working angle is suitable for producing bends close to 90° and allows controlled overbending to compensate for material springback.

The actual working force must remain within the rated capacity of the punch, lower die, holder, clamping system and press brake.
