Description

The 85 Series B Station RE2X20 Rectangular Thick Turret Punch is a precision cutting component designed for producing nominal 2 × 20 mm rectangular holes in sheet metal.

In the designation “RE2X20,” “RE” identifies the rectangular profile, while “2X20” represents the nominal width and length of the punching profile. The narrow 2 mm width makes accurate tool manufacturing, correct punch-to-die alignment and suitable cutting clearance especially important.

This product is supplied as a punch, not as a complete punch assembly. A complete assembly may include the punch, guide, stripper, spring components and other supporting parts. These components, together with the matching lower die, can be supplied separately or as a complete tooling set when required.

The RE2X20 punch is manufactured from M2 high-speed steel and heat-treated to a working hardness of HRC 58–60. M2 provides the toughness and wear resistance required for repeated punching while helping reduce premature edge breakdown in narrow rectangular profiles.

Optional TiN or TiCN coatings can be applied to improve surface hardness, reduce friction and minimize adhesive material buildup.
