Description

V100 85° Single-V Press Brake Lower Die for Heavy-Duty Bending

This V100 press brake lower die is designed with a robust single-V structure for demanding sheet metal and plate bending applications requiring a large V-opening and high load capacity.

The illustrated configuration features a 100 mm V-opening, 85° die angle, 100 mm overall height and 125 mm overall width, with a rated load capacity of 150 ton/m.

The large V100 opening provides substantial forming clearance and is suitable for applications requiring a larger inside bend radius, thicker material or wider flange geometry.

Its 85° V-groove geometry is suitable for air bending applications and provides additional forming allowance when material springback needs to be considered.

150 Ton/m High Load Capacity

With a rated load capacity of 150 ton/m, this lower die is designed for higher-force bending applications within the specified tooling capacity.

The 125 mm wide die body provides strong support around the V-groove, helping maintain stable tooling performance during repeated production bending.

Actual bending force should always be evaluated according to the material grade, tensile strength, sheet thickness, V-opening and bending length before production.

Large V100 Opening for Heavy Plate Bending

The 100 mm V-opening provides significantly greater bending clearance than smaller V-dies.

This configuration is suitable for applications requiring:

  • Larger inside bending radii
  • Heavy and thick sheet metal bending
  • Wide forming clearance
  • Larger flange dimensions
  • Increased workpiece clearance
  • High-force CNC press brake forming

The required V-opening should be selected according to the actual material thickness, bending radius and forming conditions.

Custom Effective Tool Height

The illustrated die has an overall height of 100 mm and an effective working height of 85 mm.

The effective height is not limited to this dimension and can be customized according to the customer's:

  • press brake configuration
  • upper tooling height
  • clamping system
  • machine daylight
  • existing tooling combination

This allows the lower die to be integrated into different press brake tooling setups.

V100 Single-V Die Geometry

The illustrated configuration includes:

  • V100 / 100 mm V-opening
  • 85° die angle
  • 100 mm overall height
  • 85 mm effective height
  • 125 mm overall width
  • Approx. R10 shoulder radius
  • 150 ton/m load capacity

The V-opening, die angle, radii, edge dimensions and surrounding geometry can also be customized according to the customer's bending process and workpiece drawing.
