V24 30° Single-V Press Brake Lower Die for Acute-Angle Bending

This V24 30° press brake lower die uses a single-V structure for sheet metal forming applications that require a very acute groove angle together with increased forming clearance.

The illustrated configuration features a 24 mm V-opening, 30° die angle, 90 mm overall height, 75 mm effective height and 40 mm body width, with a rated load capacity of 60 ton/m.

In this design, the 40 mm body width also serves as the main load-bearing section width, providing a wide and stable supporting structure around the V-groove during bending.

The combination of the V24 opening and 30° groove angle makes this lower die suitable for very acute-angle air bending, pre-bending and multi-stage forming operations.

Compared with smaller V8, V16 and V20 openings in the same 30° tooling family, the V24 configuration provides greater clearance through the forming zone and is better suited to applications requiring a wider V-opening and larger forming space.

30° V-Groove for Very Acute-Angle Forming

The 30° die angle is suitable for applications where the sheet must be formed to a very acute intermediate angle.

Custom Effective Tool Height

The illustrated lower die has a 90 mm overall height and a 75 mm effective working height.

The effective height is not limited to 75 mm. WYS Machinery can customize it according to the customer's press brake configuration, upper tooling combination, machine daylight, clamping system, existing tooling and required working height.

This allows the lower die to be integrated into different tooling systems rather than being limited to the dimensions shown in the drawing.
