V40 85° Single-V Press Brake Lower Die for Wider V-Opening Bending
This V40 press brake lower die is designed with a robust single-V structure for sheet metal bending applications requiring a relatively wide V-opening and stable lower-tool support.
The illustrated model features a 40 mm V-opening, 85° die angle, 90 mm overall height and 50 mm body width, with a rated load capacity of 100 ton/m.
The V40 opening provides greater forming clearance than smaller V-dies and is suitable for applications requiring a larger inside bend radius, wider die opening or increased clearance around the workpiece during bending.
The 85° V-groove geometry is suitable for controlled air bending and provides additional forming allowance when material springback needs to be considered.
Stable 100 Ton/m Lower Die Structure
With a rated load capacity of 100 ton/m, this V40 lower die provides a stable tooling solution for demanding sheet metal bending applications within its specified capacity.
The 50 mm wide body provides strong support around the V-groove and helps maintain consistent tooling performance during repeated production bending.
For safe and accurate production, actual bending tonnage should be determined according to the material grade, tensile strength, sheet thickness, V-opening and bending length.
Flexible Effective Tool Height
The illustrated lower die has an overall height of 90 mm and a standard effective working height of 75 mm.
According to the customer's press brake configuration and tooling combination, the effective height can also be manufactured as:
70 mm or other customized dimensions.
This allows the lower die to be adapted to different punch heights, machine daylight, clamping systems and existing tooling arrangements.
