This V40 85° press brake lower die uses a full-width rectangular base with a single V-groove, providing a stable lower-tool configuration for sheet metal air bending.

The main structural difference between this lower die and a conventional plug-in lower die is its mounting profile. Rather than using a narrow bottom shank, this model maintains a 60 mm full-width supporting base below the bending groove.

V40 Opening for Increased Forming Clearance

Compared with smaller V-opening dies such as V32, the V40 configuration provides additional forming space and is suitable for applications requiring a larger inside bend radius or broader workpiece geometry.

Wide-Base Structure Instead of Plug-in Mounting

This model uses a full-width 60 mm wide base.

A typical plug-in lower die uses a narrower bottom shank that fits into a compatible die holder. This wide-base lower die does not use that narrow plug-in section.

Instead, the body and base remain full width, providing a broader supporting structure beneath the V-groove.
