Compared with the previous 85° R1, 9 mm tip, 100 ton/m standard punch, this version uses a 6 mm narrower tip and 80 ton/m load capacity, providing an alternative configuration for customers whose bending applications do not require the higher load capacity of the wider-tip version.

This tooling can be manufactured for applications involving major press brake brands and tooling systems, including Amada, TRUMPF, LVD, Bystronic, and WILA, subject to the specific machine and tooling interface.

Product Details & Manufacturing Quality

The punch is manufactured from 42CrMo alloy steel, providing high mechanical strength, toughness, wear resistance, and durability for repeated bending operations.

The working section is heat treated to approximately HRC 54 ± 2, helping maintain the tooling profile and dimensional stability during long-term production.

The combination of an 85° punch angle, R1 tip radius, 6 mm tip width, and 120 mm overall height provides a practical configuration for a wide range of CNC press brake bending applications.

The narrower tip allows the working contact area to be more concentrated compared with a wider-tip configuration. This can be advantageous for certain precision bending applications where the geometry of the workpiece requires a narrower punch contact point.
