Description
The 85 Series A Station RO10 Round Thick Turret Punch is designed for producing nominal 10 mm diameter holes on compatible CNC thick turret punch presses.
In the designation “RO10,” “RO” identifies the round punching profile and “10” represents the nominal punch diameter of 10 mm. This clear shape-and-size designation helps customers identify the correct replacement punch and matching die.
This product is supplied as an individual punch, not as a complete punch assembly. The punch guide, stripper, spring components and matching lower die are not included unless specified separately.
The RO10 punch is manufactured from M2 high-speed steel and heat-treated to a working hardness of HRC 58–60. M2 combines cutting-edge hardness, toughness and resistance to softening during repeated punching cycles, making it suitable for high-volume production involving mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum and other sheet materials.
Unlike square and rectangular punches, the round profile has no concentrated corner areas. The cutting force is distributed more evenly around the circumference, helping provide stable punching performance and typically allowing a longer service life than comparable shaped tooling under suitable operating conditions.
