Description
The WYS 30° V6 Bystronic-type single-V die is a precision lower tool designed for thin-sheet bending and acute-angle forming. It has a 120 mm overall height, a 100 mm effective working height, a 6 mm V-opening and a maximum load capacity of 40 ton/m.
The narrow V6 opening provides concentrated bending support and is particularly suitable for producing small bend radii and short flanges in thin sheet metal. Its 30° die angle allows the workpiece to be formed beyond 90°, making the die suitable for acute bending, springback compensation and pre-bending before a subsequent hemming operation.
The tall and slim die profile provides additional working height while maintaining access for narrow or complex components. Manufactured from high-strength 42CrMo alloy steel, the tool is precision-machined and heat-treated for consistent V-opening geometry, stable mounting and repeatable bending performance.
