Description
The WYS 85° Bystronic-type gooseneck punch is designed for sheet-metal components that require substantial clearance during bending. With an overall height of 220 mm and a total width of 70 mm, the tool combines extended working reach with a large recessed inner profile.
Its deep gooseneck geometry creates generous clearance between the punch body and the formed workpiece. This helps prevent interference during successive bending operations and makes the tool particularly suitable for producing deep boxes, channels, cabinets, enclosures and components with tall return flanges.
The punch has a 10 mm-wide working tip with an R2 radius. This configuration provides a durable tool nose and supports controlled bend-radius formation. With a maximum load capacity of 80 ton/m, it is suitable for a wide range of general and complex sheet-metal bending applications.
The punch angle, tip width and tip radius can be customized according to the workpiece requirements. Optional black oxide surface treatment, custom sectional lengths and segmented tooling sets are also available.

The large recessed area is the primary advantage of this gooseneck punch. Its internal R35 relief profile provides substantial clearance around the workpiece, allowing previously formed flanges to move around the punch body during subsequent bending operations.
The 220 mm overall height further increases the available working space, making the tool suitable for comparatively large or high-sided components. Its 70 mm total width provides the structural support required by the deep gooseneck geometry.
The 10 mm tip width creates a stable working section, while the R2 tip radius supports accurate bend formation and good tip durability. The punch is rated for a maximum load of 80 ton/m and should always be used within the specified load limit.
