T-Type 85° Single-V Press Brake Lower Die with 60 mm Wide Base

This T-type single-V press brake lower die combines a wide supporting base with a vertical single-V working section, providing a stable lower-tool structure for sheet metal bending applications.

The illustrated configuration has an 80 mm overall height, and its effective working height is also 80 mm. The bottom base is 60 mm wide and 18 mm high, while the rated load capacity is 100 ton/m.

The upper working section uses an 85° single-V groove. Different V-openings, load-bearing widths and V-groove radii are available, allowing the same T-type structure to be adapted to different material thicknesses, bend radii and forming requirements.

The dimensions shown represent available configurations rather than fixed limitations. WYS Machinery can manufacture the complete die cross-section according to the customer's press brake and workpiece requirements.

85° Single-V Groove for Precision Air Bending

The illustrated lower die uses an 85° V-groove, making it suitable for air-bending applications where additional angular allowance may be required before the material springs back toward the final bend angle.

The final bending result depends on factors such as:

For this reason, the 85° geometry is not the only available configuration. The die angle can also be customized according to the actual forming process.

Compared with a narrow straight-body lower die, the wide base provides a broader supporting platform beneath the vertical working section.

T-Series and TR-Series Groove Options

The standard specification range includes both T-series and TR-series configurations.

The T6, T8 and T10 versions use smaller groove radii:

T6 – R0.4
T8 – R0.5
T10 – R0.8

The corresponding TR configurations use a larger R2.75 radius:

TR6 – R2.75
TR8 – R2.75
TR10 – R2.75

This gives customers additional groove-radius options while retaining the T-type wide-base lower-die structure.
