This V12 press brake lower die is designed for precision sheet metal bending applications requiring a compact V-die with a 12 mm V-opening.
The illustrated model has a 90 mm overall height, 18 mm body width and 88° V-groove angle, with a rated load capacity of 80 ton/m. The die combines a relatively compact body with reliable bending capacity for a wide range of sheet metal forming operations.
The 88° die angle is suitable for controlled air bending and provides flexibility when compensating for material springback. The V12 opening makes this die suitable for many common precision bending applications involving thin and medium-gauge sheet materials.
Flexible Effective Tool Height
Although the illustrated die has an overall height of 90 mm, the effective working height does not have to remain fixed.
Depending on the customer's machine, tooling combination and bending requirements, the effective height can be manufactured as:
