V50 85° Single-V Press Brake Lower Die for Large V-Opening Bending

This V50 press brake lower die is designed with a robust single-V structure for sheet metal bending applications requiring a large V-opening and stable lower-tool support.

The illustrated model features a 50 mm V-opening, 85° die angle, 90 mm overall height and 75 mm overall width, with a rated load capacity of 100 ton/m.

The V50 opening provides significantly greater forming clearance than smaller V-dies and is suitable for applications requiring a larger inside bend radius, wider flange clearance or thicker sheet metal within the allowable bending capacity.

The 85° V-groove geometry is suitable for air bending applications and provides additional forming allowance where material springback needs to be considered.

Large V-Opening for Increased Bending Clearance

The 50 mm V-opening offers more working clearance during the bending process and allows the workpiece to form around a larger bending radius.

This makes the die suitable for applications where:

  • a wider V-opening is required
  • a larger inside radius is preferred
  • thicker sheet metal needs to be bent
  • greater workpiece clearance is necessary
