Description
V6 85° Single-V Press Brake Lower Die for Small V-Opening Bending
This V6 press brake lower die is designed with a single-V structure for precision sheet metal bending applications requiring a small V-opening and compact bending zone.
The illustrated model features a 6 mm V-opening, 85° die angle, 90 mm overall height and 25 mm overall width. The load-bearing section around the bending area is 12 mm wide, and the die has a rated load capacity of 40 ton/m.
The relatively small V6 opening makes this lower die suitable for forming thinner sheet materials, smaller flange geometries and applications where a relatively small inside bend radius is required.
The 85° V-groove angle also provides additional forming range for air bending applications where material springback needs to be compensated.
Customized Effective Height
The standard configuration shown has:
90 mm overall height and 75 mm effective working height.
The effective height can also be manufactured as:
70 mm or other customized dimensions
according to the customer's press brake configuration and tooling combination.
