Description

V8 / V16 / V24 Multi-V Press Brake Lower Die

This multi-V press brake lower die integrates multiple V-openings into a compact 55 × 55 mm die body, providing several bending groove options within one lower tool.

According to the illustrated configuration, the die incorporates V8, V16 and V24 openings, with multiple V8 and V16 working grooves positioned across different faces of the tooling body. The groove angle shown in the drawing is 85°, and the rated load capacity is 100 ton/m.

Unlike a conventional single-V die or double-V die, a multi-V lower die provides several usable V-openings within one tooling section. The required working face can be selected according to the sheet thickness, required inside bend radius, material properties and bending process.

This multi-face arrangement improves tooling utilization by allowing one lower die to cover a wider range of bending requirements. Instead of preparing and storing several separate single-V dies, multiple forming openings can be integrated into one compact tooling body.

Multi-V Working-Face Design

The defining feature of this lower die is its multi-face, multi-V structure.

Instead of providing only one or two bending openings, several V-grooves are distributed across different working faces of the die body.
