Description
This A Station upward center point marking tool creates a controlled non-piercing reference feature in sheet metal using a thick turret punch press. The upward forming configuration provides a consistent locating mark for subsequent fabrication and assembly operations without producing a punched-out slug.
It is commonly used for drilling and tapping location, bending references, assembly and welding positioning, and part identification. Mark dimensions, forming height and tool geometry can be customized according to the sheet material, thickness and application requirements.
WYS Machinery can manufacture upward and downward center point marking tools in thick turret and thin turret configurations, with A, B, C, D and E station sizes available. TRUMPF and Murata Wiedemann type structures can also be produced for different punch press systems.
