Description
This B Station countersink forming tool is designed to form a controlled conical recess around a pre-punched hole in sheet metal, providing a countersunk profile for flush or low-profile fastener installation.
Countersink diameter, angle, depth and forming direction can be customized according to the hole size, sheet material, thickness and fastener requirements. The forming process provides a repeatable countersink geometry directly on the punch press.
WYS Machinery can manufacture upward or downward countersink forming tools for thick turret and thin turret systems in A, B, C, D and E station sizes. TRUMPF and Murata Wiedemann type structures are also available for different punch press systems.
