Description
This B Station knockout tool is designed to create removable knockout sections in sheet metal on a thick turret punch press. Most of the cutout perimeter is sheared while small retaining tabs keep the center slug securely attached to the sheet.
The retained section can be knocked out during installation to create a complete opening when required. Knockout shape, size, retaining-tab arrangement and tooling geometry can be customized according to the sheet material, thickness and application requirements.
WYS Machinery can manufacture knockout tooling for thick turret and thin turret systems in A, B, C, D and E station sizes. Custom configurations for TRUMPF and Murata Wiedemann punch press systems are also available.
