Press Brake Flattening Tool for Sheet Metal Forming

This press brake flattening tool is a special tooling solution designed for flattening and forming pre-bent sheet metal components.

The forming process requires two steps:

  1. The sheet metal is initially bent to a specific angle, such as 26°, 28° or 30°, using a suitable press brake punch and die.
  2. The pre-bent section is then placed into this flattening tool and pressed to complete the final flattening operation.

Through this secondary forming process, the bent section is compressed and flattened, creating the required final profile while increasing the local material thickness effect.
